The Greek presidency of the EU comes at a time of strong signs of recovery for the Greek economy, a result of the hard work and determination of Prime Minister Samaras to steering Greece on a prosperous and sustainable path. The country is steadily exiting the crisis while all EPP governments across the EU are showing results in job creation and financial stability.
We are confident that the Greek Presidency will mark the beginning of a new, more prosperous time for Europe and will help rebuild the trust of the citizens. This can only be achieved through hard work, vision and dedication, all components of the proven leadership of Antonis Samaras, Prime Minister of Greece.
