European Elections

YEPP elected representatives to the European Parliament in 2019:
1

The European Elections last May saw the highest voter turnout in over 20 years. 50.6% Europeans voted in the May elections in comparison to 42.6% in 2014. The overall increase was more importantly due to young people getting out to vote. Voter turnout for those aged under 25 increased by 14% and 25-39 year old increased by 12%.

This is why it’s so important for young people to vote, because your vote counts and you can impact change!
