Valencia, Spain — 29–30 April 2025
The Youth of the European People’s Party (YEPP) proudly hosted a vibrant and interactive stand at the EPP Congress in Valencia, themed “YEPP: Acting as a Bridge Between Present and Future Generations.”
Throughout the two-day event, the YEPP stand attracted widespread attention and featured a variety of engaging elements, including a photo booth, branded giveaways, a prize wheel, and a participatory canvas where delegates could reflect on the importance of youth in politics. The space quickly became a focal point for discussion, interaction, and the celebration of youth-driven democratic engagement.
High-level figures, including European Commissioners, Members of the European Parliament, and the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, visited the stand, showcasing a growing recognition of young leaders as essential contributors to Europe’s political future.
One of the most notable moments was a powerful exchange between YEPP President and MEP Lidia Pereira, Belarusian National Leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, and European Parliament President Roberta Metsola. Their conversation underscored YEPP’s commitment to freedom, democracy, and international solidarity, while emphasizing the need to empower the next generation to lead with courage and vision.
Beyond being a platform for visibility, the YEPP stand served as a space for genuine intergenerational exchange, reaffirming the role of youth organizations as catalysts for political innovation and continuity.
