Jobs Campaign – Round 2

Youth of the European People's Party

In June, the final EU Council decided on its policies for tackling youth unemployment. The careers and lives, and eventually families of a young generation were, and are at stake. In such times of despair, YouthEPP asked EU leaders to show courage, perseverance and unity, in view of long-term solutions.
The EU Council through the leadership of the EPP Heads of State supported our proposals which are included in the final text of the Conclusions. Now it’ s time to bring the campaign to the national level and ask our national legislators to act.
We ask for your help to get 100 endorsements from young Members of national Parliaments from the whole of Europe. Call your Representative, and mail them the (attached) letter. Europe heard you because we worked together. Now it’s your turn to act and try passing national legislation.
