In our last online workshop, experts from Europe and Africa came together to discuss the current state of gender equality and women’s political representation across both continents.

Bringing together perspectives from the European Union, Togo, and Benin, this workshop shows why intercontinental cooperation and youth engagement are essential to turning legal progress into lasting social change.

During the session, we examined the current state of gender equality and women’s political engagement across Europe and Africa. From legislative milestones to the persistent structural barriers facing women today, the session offers a deep dive into how both continents are progressing toward parity.
