Bucharest, Romania – Delegates of the Youth of the European People’s Party (YEPP) assembled in Bucharest to discuss the changes and challenges to human mobility. The theme of the conference was “Human Mobility: Migration & Demographics” and saw a host of speakers from politics, academia and business backgrounds brief YEPP attendees on the ever-changing area of human mobility. The event was organised by the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

Recent years have seen migration reaching unprecedented levels and this trend has had negative effects for many countries, in particular, the Balkans and Eastern Europe.

YEPP is the largest youth political organisation in Europe and this Romanian Conference saw 90 delegates from 34 European countries in attendance. The event was hosted by TNL Romania in cooperation with MIERT, Transylvania.
