YEPP’s Summerschool in Cyprus, hosted by YEPP Cypriot Member NEDISY, will explore the development and enhancement of the CFSP. The days allocated for this event will give time for the participants to cover the topic through official visits and discussions around the topic. The event will be organized in such way in order to have government officials and specialist speakers contribute on the topic and then the participants will continue with discussions which will give them the opportunity to express their views and experiences in their countries. In this way YEPP will promote the CFSP as an important issue that should be followed up by the EPP and addressed by the member states. The issue weighs heavily into multiple aspects of Europe’s common future, vision and goal and could elevate the EU not only as an economic giant but also as a soft military power in the global arena.
