Congratulations, Sebastian!

Youth of the European People's Party

After having taken over as leader of the Austrian People’s Party five months ago, Sebastian Kurz -who, until then, sat on our Council of Presidents as the chairman of Junge OVP- managed to turn around the fate of the party and delivered a convincing victory in Sunday’s elections in Austria. Aged 31, Sebastian is the first of our generation to lead a major European party and achieve such success! We wish him luck with the challenges ahead!
