Oleksandr was born on 14th July 1994 in Mariupol, Ukraine. In 2012, he moved to Kyiv and enrolled at the Faculty of Law at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. During his studies, he actively participated in the civil and political life of his country. In 2015, he joined the youth wing of the Batkivshchyna Party, known as Batkivshchyna Moloda. In 2017, he assumed the role of International Secretary of Batkivshchyna Moloda and began to represent his organization and country in the Youth of the European People’s Party (YEPP).

 

In 2018, he completed his Master’s Degree in Law and joined the Kyiv School of Economics for a Master’s Program in Public Policy and Governance. Since 2019, he has been working as a lawyer at the headquarters of the Batkivshchyna Party. In 2020, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Governance and ran for the Kyiv City Council as a representative of the Batkivshchyna Party. In 2023, he was elected as the Vice-President of YEPP.

 

Oleksandr has actively participated in various forums, training programs, and educational trips, including the Eastern Partnership Youth Forum (2017), the Yalta European Strategy Annual Meeting (2017), Robert Schuman Institute training seminars “How Europe Works” (2018), Ukrainian Catholic University Certificate Program in European Studies (2019), European Forum Alpbach (2020), Robert Schuman Institute training seminars “Rule of Law Academy” (2021), World Youth Forum (2021), and Ukrainian Catholic University Certificate Program in American Politics and Government (2022).
