Profile:
Frank Lambermont (CDJA, The Netherlands) was born in 1982 in Heerlen. He obtained a Vordiplom in Physics at the RWTH in Aachen, Germany in 2005, and a Bachelor degree in European Studies from Maastricht University, the Netherlands in 2006. In 2007 he graduated with both an MA in European Studies, specialising in European foreign policy, and a LLM from the European Law School, specialising in freedom, security and justice (FSJ), both from the University of Maastricht.
Whilst following the Bachelor programme, he worked in the European Parliament for Camiel Eurlings (EPP); at the time a Member of the European Parliament who became afterwards the Dutch Minister for Transport. Through his experience in the European Parliament, Frank became politically engaged and joined the CDA and its youth wing the CDJA. In 2008, he was elected the chairman of the CDJA Europe Commission and, in 2009, he became the international secretary of the CDJA.
Currently, he is employed at the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA). Here, in this multicultural environment, Frank contributes to trainings and seminars on European Negotiations, the EU decision-making process, CFSP and FSJ.
