YEPP, in association with Educatio and JKD, succesfully organised this year’s summer school in Klaipeda, Lithuania. The event was held between 17th and 20th July on the topic of ‘European Union halfway between Vilnius and Riga summits’.

The youthful city of Klaipeda offered the ideal scene for a series of presentations about Lithuania and the Baltics, the economic conditions and possibilities for the Eurozone and rounds of political training for the young participants.

The final day of the summer school marked the sad anniversary of 20 years of the Lukasjenko dictatorship in Belarus. The 90 delegates demonstrated in favour of freedom for Belarus at the town center of Klaipeda.

We thank our partners at the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the International Republican Institute for their support and expertise.
