Ali-Reza was born in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan in 1993. He lived his childhood as a refugee and moved to Finland at the age of 10. At the age of 19, he was elected to the City Council of Kangasala as its youngest member. Four years later, he was re-elected. He became active in Kokoomusnuoret at the age of 19 and has served twice on the regional Board, and twice on the National Board before being elected as the Vice-President of the organization. As a member of the National Board, he acted as the International Secretary of KNL. In 2018, Ali-Reza was elected as the Vice-President of KNL’s mother party, National Coalition Party, Council. In his personal time, Ali-Reza studies business at Tampere University and is majoring in risk management. He occasionally works as a Persian translator.
